There are plenty of people in the world, whether they frequent the internet or not, are not sure what The Difference Between Affiliate Marketing And MLM is.
They are, in reality, totally different, and here is a quick reason why.
Firstly, MLM or NETWORK MARKETING has existed for a lot longer than most people realise.
Network Marketing can be done offline and many people still do that today.
Multi-Level Marketers become associated with a certain product that they like or trust in.
They then buy from their supplier and resell to the public at a profit
The key reason that it is called MULTI level marketing is basically that if you are a marketer, you can start your own sequence of marketers.
This is called a network.
What would happen is that you acquire your products from your supplier at a discounted price and sell them at the true market value.
But if you have an associate that also wants to get started on this business he or she can buy their batch of products directly from you, rather than contacting your supplier.
That way you can make more money as you will sell them to her or him at a slightly higher rate in order to make a profit.
This could continue down the line, but what most people do not realise is that the longer this technique goes on, the less money is made down the line.
This type of marketing procedure can be difficult to sustain over a long period of time.
Affiliate Marketing is totally different.
You are not selling any products directly.
You are simply advertising other companies products.
You do not have to acquire anything at all, but you will still generate a good income just for sharing with people the best product to buy.
Affiliate marketers get a commission when anyone that they direct to the site they are Affiliated to buys something.
So in this manner, the company is paying for a good lead and they will pay generously.
One other difference between Affiliate Marketing and MLM’s is that Affiliates get paid the same amount of commission rate.
Instead of folks joining at the end of a line as in MLM, Affiliates join onto a level playing field.
You will also find that affiliate marketers can get paid an extra amount if they refer more people to become affiliates of that company.
But this will be a one-off commission and they will not have any further dealings with the affiliate they refer.
Look at it this way.
The Multi-Level Marketing style is directly offering a product, while Affiliate Marketing is an advertisement showing people where to buy a product or service.

Affiliate Marketing is by far a more sustainable form of long-term income but takes harder work and dedication to become successful.
